I am in my fourth year teaching Middle School Art to 4th – 8th graders at Holland Hall. After thirty years as a studio potter and ceramist, with part time teaching locally in Tulsa, I have made a career change. I enjoy teaching, but it leaves very little time for pursuing studio work, and certainly no time for creating a body of new work.

December 9, 2007 Tulsa suffered a horrible ice storm which left 250,000 in Tulsa without power for up to two weeks. We were fortunate to lose power for only one day. But we lost many big limbs and have had four mature trees cut down. The new electric work for a remodeled garage/studio is put on hold because the electrician will not be available for a few more weeks. I will put up pictures of the few ornaments remaining in inventory from November. I hope to start making Janimals again in February.
